Berties fly the flag!

Berties Restaurant in Romsey launches their "British is best" menu this week with the emphasis firmly on showcasing local producers.

In a further effort to show their patriotism they enlisted the help of "The Design House" team in Winchester with the simple but direct brief for the redecoration of their conservatory…"Quintessential British"

They came up with a design by none other than the Queen of British style "Vivienne Westwood" with her unique Union Jack wallpaper inspired by an antique, weathered and sun-bleached flag recovered from a ship.

The "Best of British" menu will run throughout August and September with £1 donated to "Help for Heroes" for each meal served.
